Antique Pony Wooden Toy Tinkers Pull Toy C 1920's

Description

A Wonderful Toy Tinker Pony Pull Toy made in Evanston, IL c 1924. These wood toys were
hand painted. As you pull the pony, the rider goes up and down. This one has what appears
to be its original pull string and little round knob. The leather Rein looks original and the pony’s
harness looks good. The Toy Tinker label on the riders hat is in very good condition. T
o the
top of the rider is 6.5 inches and from nose to tail it is 8 inches. It was advertised with a little
boy pulling the toy and “The little man posts up and down. The pony wears no blinker. The
little man will not fall off”. The whole toy is in very good condition with original paint and
equipment. The wheels somewhere in time may have been repainted. This is a wonderful
piece of our past-when things were hand made with great care. A real treat for the antique
toy collector.
